In 2008 the new TRANS-TASMAN competition replaced the National Netball League. 5 teams from New Zealand and 5 teams from Australia now compete for the ANZ Trans-Tasman Championship. 

Victoria's team in this competition is the Melbourne Vixens, replacing the Melbourne Phoenix & Kestrals.

On occasions we are proud to welcome Melbourne Vixens to our home venue, the Boroondara Sports Complex for their specialist training sessions or practice matches against our own Boroondara Genesis VNL teams. This providies a wonderful opportunity for players and coaches to observe the structure and intensity of NNL training sessions.
