Summary & Update:
- Our 3500 members urgently require facilities that - at the very minimum - comply with Health & Safety regulations, not to mention adequate space, shelter, storage etc.
- Council have allocated $550,000 from this year's budget for the extension and in a recent show of strong support, approved a further $250,000 rather than accept our offer to pay the balance!
- Concept plans have been prepared and community consultation was overwhelmingly POSITIVE.
- At the Council Meeting on Monday, August 2nd the proposal was approved by Council.
- At a further meeting, the following time-line was presented to us:

Council will provide us with appropriate "Temporary Facilities" during the first half of our 2011 season so next year's netball season will not be compromised.
